CREDLY BY PEARSON
Credly by Pearson is a leading provider of a suite of solutions to transform an organization’s digital credentialing program. As a Marketing Production Designer, JR collaborated closely with other designers and marketing team members, to provide the link between conceptual design and tangible results for marketing to existing and potential partners around the world. A few daily responsibilities included social media design, collateral creation, building on and maintaining brand elements, icons, illustrations, adapting brand guidelines and providing design support across the broader team.
SE RESPETA CARÁCTER
Se Respeta Carácter is a personal project, where JR created a lifestyle brand that has a clean, minimalist look and feel. It has not only provided him with an outlet to demonstrate his ability to create products, but also continue to progress his passion for illustrations, typography and photography.
PIER 1 IMPORTS
As a Packaging Production Designer at Pier 1 Imports, JR’s original responsibilities were to deliver packaging that consistently met and upheld the brands identity, by creating the mechanical artwork files, for a variety of packaging forms. Additional duty included, creating custom artwork for a variety of products.
MICHAELS
While at Michaels, JR held the position of a Packaging Development Specialist and acted as the point of contact with all cross-functional teams. This not only ensured packaging artwork was consistent with brand standards and compliant, but also helped identify resources needed to ensure timely completion of projects. During his tenure at Michaels, JR also contributed instructional line drawings, packaging die-lines and illustrations that were used on a variety of Michaels private brands.
